Pause

Pause token activity

Use this option to stop any token activity at contract level, meaning that your token will be paused at the blockchain level, not only in your website.

To pause your token to the following:

Login with Metamask using your admin account and choose the right network
In the wallet below your account address you will see a “Pause” button.
Click on “Pause”.
A window with another “Pause” button will appear.
Click on “Pause”.
Click “Confirm” in Metamask
A transaction in progress window will show, it can take several minutes to finish the transaction. Please be patience.
When the transaction is finished it will appear in the Block Explorer

Resume

Resume token activity

To unpause your token to the following:

Login with Metamask using your admin account and choose the right network
In the wallet below your account address you will see a “Resume” button.
Click on “Resume”.
A window with another “Resume” button will appear.
Click on “Resume”.
Click “Confirm” in Metamask
A transaction in progress window will show, it can take several minutes to finish the transaction. Please be patience.
When the transaction is finished it will appear in the Block Explorer

Add pauser role

Add pauser role

Authorized accounts can authorize other accounts to pause the token. To do this do the following:

Login with Metamask using your admin account and choose the right network
Paste the address of the account you want to authorize in the search bar of the Block Explorer and click the magnifying glass icon.
The address will appear in the block explorer and if your account has Minter privileges you will see a button with “Add Pauser Role” below the address.
Click on “Add Pauser Role” button, and then another “Add Minter Role” button will appear. Click on it.
A Metamask window will show confirming the transaction you want to make
Click “Confirm” in Metamask
A transaction in progress window will show, it can take several minutes to finish the transaction. Please be patience.
When the transaction is finished it will appear in the Block Explorer

Renounce pauser role

If your account has the pauser role you can remove this privilege to your account doing the following:

Login with Metamask using your admin account and choose the right network
In the wallet below your account address, you will see a “Renounce Pauser Role” button.
Click on “Renounce Pauser Role”.
A window with another “Renounce Pauser Role” button will appear.
Click on “Renounce Pauser Role”.
Click “Confirm” in Metamask
A transaction in progress window will show, it can take several minutes to finish the transaction. Please be patience.
When the transaction is finished it will appear in the Block Explorer
